When "Random Access Memories" was released, I was spending my 10th birthday with childhood friends that I've since lost contact with. I've never heard of Daft Punk at that time, and had no clue how much came to enjoy their music in the following years of my life.

I came to really love their music over time, starting with singing the iconic radio hits with my sister on a long roadtrip, watching their iconic animated movie featuring the Discovery album, and crying tears to some of the emotional tracks. The versatility of their music is endless.

But it's sad that good things never last forever. I was very upset when hearing of their breakup, but it has also made me dive deep into the legacy that they left behind. I stepped closer to their discography, and carefully listened to their music, especially my birthday twin: Random Access Memories.

This album is Daft Punk's love letter to music, with its timeless combination of different genres from across time and space, while staying uniquely Daft Punk with their iconic vocoder disco style. There's always a song from RAM you can fall in love with, anywhere, anytime.

Give Life Back to Music
